Today we are joined by Dr. Kelly Jeu, MD, aka my big sister!
Kelly Jeu is a Chinese American Memphis native. She is currently working as a pediatrician in southern California where her career allows her to be a big kid every day. Her favorite TV shows are Avatar: The Last Airbender and Once Upon a Time. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, reading fiction, listening to music, catching up on TV shows, eating yummy food, and playing Pokemon Go (she hasn't missed a day of gaming since the app was released 7/6/16). The things she is looking forward to when the pandemic subsides is traveling and going back to San Diego Comic Con.
Watch the video below as we talk about growing up as 2nd generation Chinese Americans, watching Brenda Song as kids, and #BringBackBrenda. (PS: I tried to edit this video but I think we covered some great content and had fun doing so! Plus editing that much footage while also working a 60 hour work week wasn’t gonna cut it for me :))

Today’s donation link will honor Shane Nguyen, a 56 year old man who was reported missing last month. His body was found in the back of his crashed mini van. Shane was an active member of his community and and sang in his church choir and ran his own business.
“I chose this link because I am just so heartbroken about the suffering in the Asian community since last year, and my heart goes out to the Nguyen family. This man was trying to help someone whom he thought was in need, and his kindness was repaid with hatred and unimaginable violence. May he rest in peace.“ - Kelly Jeu
Donations will go towards Shane’s wife and two sons as they plan funeral arrangements and pursue further investigation into his death. Click here to donate to the GoFundMe page.
